Lord Mayor comes to St Botolph's

The Rt Hon the Lord Mayor, Alderman Michael Bear, and his wife attended St Botolph's on July 25th 2011 for a concert given by the Oxford Spezzati, held as part of his Charitable Appeal. The dignitary party viewed the newly refurbished Church Hall, He was delighted to learn that bookings are now being taken for Christmas events and parties!
The Rector shows the newly refurbished hall to the Lord Mayor, the Lady Mayoress and the Chief Commoner. Mr James North (Mansion House) is also pictured.
A Church Warden, Chris Watkins, escorts the mayoral party into Church.
The Rector and the civic party pose on the Church steps. The Oxford Spezzati performed music by Parry, Handel, Mozart and Weelkes to a capacity crowd. A sparkling reception followed in the Church Hall.
