Parish & Ward Church of St. Botolph without Bishopsgate

Coronavirus safety information for those visiting or attending services

Now we are once more permitted to hold public services at St Botolph’s, we are taking extra care to ensure that hygiene procedures are strictly observed by all before, during, and after services and events.
We have made every effort to ensure the church is thoroughly cleaned daily, and hand sanitiser is available for all to use at the entrance to the church. Please follow the one-way system marked out on the floor, maintaining two metres’ distance from other visitors or congregation members wherever possible.
St Botolph’s church has its unique NHS Test and Trace QR code which is prominently displayed within the building. Those entering the church may register by scanning the QR code on their phones at the entrance. A Link to the QR Code is at the bottom of this page.
Face coverings are currently required by law to be worn at all times by those visiting church or attending services, unless exempt. Those who are leading services, including the priest, the musicians and the readers, are exempt from wearing face coverings at some points during the service.
We regret it is not possible to offer refreshments after services for the time being, but we look forward to a time when we will all be able to gather for refreshment in less restricted circumstances.
Thank you for your understanding. We continue to pray for all those affected by the virus, and for those caring for them.
