Alms given and collections taken during Advent and at Carol Services are divided between the church’s chosen charities, which this year are:

XLP (The eXceL Project), based at All Hallows on the Wall in this parish, which creates positive futures for young people living in the inner city, making a serious and sustainable impact on poverty and educational failure. XLP engages with approximately 1600 young people each week on a one-to-one and small group basis and works closely with over 50 schools and on 33 estates across nine of the most deprived inner-London boroughs.

ALMA (The Angola London Mozambique Association) towards the ALMA Angola Schools fund for building additional schools and classrooms in church schools in Angola – including the school St Botolph’s built at St Barnabas, Songo which is now overflowing with many hundreds of pupils.
