Special service for the Bowyers’ Company

On 25 May the officers and many members of the Worshipful Company of Bowyers attended St Botolph’s for a special service to mark the 400th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Charter by King James I. The service included appropriate music from each century of the Charter’s existence, and an extract from the Charter was solemnly proclaimed. In Fr David’s absence on leave, the service was taken by Fr Andrew Williams, who welcomed the Company and led them in prayer.
