At St Botolph’s we will celebrate the bond between humans and animals as we hold our Annual Animal Blessing Service on Friday 7 October at 12.10 pm.  We hold this popular service each year on the Friday closest to the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. As ever there will be the opportunity for each animal to receive a personal blessing. The service will feature beautiful music from St Botolph’s choir and refreshments will be served

Following the sad news yesterday of the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, there will be a special additional Said Mass today dedicated to her memory. This will take place at 1.10 pm, following the tolling of the church bell for an hour from noon along with those of churches across the country.
