Please join us 5.30pm Thursday 14 December for the Carols by Candlelight Service. St Botolph’s Choir lead an early evening service of spectacular choral carols from across the centuries and traditional carols for all to sing, followed by seasonal refreshmentsand the Choir of The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School will be joining forces to make joyful music for our popular traditional carol service. Everyone is welcome to attend the service and to stay for traditional seasonal refreshments afterwards, so bring your colleagues

At St Botolph’s we will celebrate the bond between humans and animals as we hold our Annual Animal Blessing Service on Friday 7 October at 12.10 pm.  We hold this popular service each year on the Friday closest to the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. As ever there will be the opportunity for each animal to receive a personal blessing. The service will feature beautiful music from St Botolph’s choir and refreshments will be served

Following the sad news yesterday of the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, there will be a special additional Said Mass today dedicated to her memory. This will take place at 1.10 pm, following the tolling of the church bell for an hour from noon along with those of churches across the country. The church is open as always today until 5.30 pm for people to light candles and sign a book of condolence, and for quiet reflection and
