Dear Friend of St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate, I pray you are well and learning how to live with the ever-varying aspects of lockdown. I write to let you know that this week we resume public services in the church. We will be holding a Said Mass at 1.10pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. Tennis Court Reopening
As the Church is now reopening we are now able to also reopen the Court for tennis only during the same staffed times. Monday to Friday 12noon - 3pm only at the moment. The court will be opened by the caretaker and the net will be up ready. The gate and the net mechanism will be cleaned each morning but please do bring your own hand sanitiser to use as well. Reopening our doors once more
We are pleased to say that today we will be physically reopening the Church building once more after nearly 3 months of closure. However, during the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions we will be opening Monday to Friday 12noon to 3pm for private prayer only. Suspension of Church Services
In a statement issued this lunchtime by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, all Church of England churches have been advised to put public worship on hold in the coming months to face the challenge of coronavirus. We at St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate are following the Archbishops’ instructions and suspending public worship at St Botolph’s for the foreseeable future. We will remain open during our usual opening hours for sanctuary, private prayer and devotion. We will continue to review the situation with reference
Lunchbreak Opera 17-21 February
We are pleased to welcome back Lunchbreak Opera for their spring production "A Dinner Engagement" by Lennox Berkeley. There will be daily performances at 1pm and 2 evening performances on Thursday and Friday at 6pm. All in the Hall here at St Botolph's.
